Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: November 4, 2026
WaspNestGuide is a free resource. To keep it free, some of our pages contain affiliate links. This page explains what that means and how we make sure affiliate relationships never decide what we recommend.
What an Affiliate Link Is
An affiliate link lets a retailer know a visitor arrived from WaspNestGuide. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
We mark affiliate links where they appear, using a simple label such as “(paid link)”, so you always know when a link may earn us a commission.
Amazon Associates
WaspNestGuide may participate in the Amazon Associates Program. If we are approved and use Amazon affiliate links, we may earn from qualifying purchases made through those links at no additional cost to you. When Amazon affiliate links are active, this page will include the disclosure required by Amazon’s Operating Agreement.
Other Retailers and Networks
WaspNestGuide may also participate in other affiliate networks that link to specialist retailers of pest control supplies, traps, and protective gear. If you click one of these links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
Professional Referrals
Some pages may link to services that help you find or contact a licensed pest professional. Where such a link may earn us a referral fee, we disclose it in the same way as any other affiliate link. We only suggest professional help when the situation genuinely calls for it.
Our Promise on Recommendations
Affiliate commissions never determine our recommendations.
In many wasp situations the most useful next step is not buying anything. It may be identifying the insect, leaving a small or out-of-the-way nest until the season ends, calling a beekeeper for a bee colony, or calling a licensed professional. We say so plainly, even though it earns us nothing.
We include product links only where a product genuinely fits the situation and the safety context of the page. If DIY is not appropriate, we will say so, regardless of whether a product link is available.
Prices and Availability
Prices, availability, product labels, and retailer information can change at any time. Anything shown on WaspNestGuide is general guidance and may be out of date. Always check the current price, product details, and label on the retailer’s own page before buying.
